The Igor Stravinsky Room in our Santa Fe inn is named for the composer who made the Santa Fe Opera famous, and who was a friend and house guest of Bynner for the opening season of the opera. It was originally built as lodging for Rita, Bynner’s housekeeper.
Furnished with a queen bed, air conditioning, two overstuffed reading chairs, and windows looking out onto public tree-shaded patios, this bright room is accessed from a private entrance adjacent to the inn’s front patio with cafe tables for dining. Our wood-burning fireplaces are available Oct. 15 – April 15.
There are steps entering and within this room. There is one step down from the entry door to the entry foyer. A slight step from the entry foyer to the bathroom level. There are three steps down from foyer into bedroom area. The claw-foot tub requires a high step into the bath and the shower height might be short for taller guests. The Igor Stravinsky Room is pet friendly.
The private en-suite bath includes a claw-foot tub / shower combination. View our vacation packages and book a romantic getaway today.
